The 2008 fishing season is my 19th as a professional guide.
As a local who has spent his entire life in this area, I started fly fishing about
30 years ago, and like many fly anglers, I started in fresh water. I bought my first boat when I was 19, and I have been
in the sound ever since.
After 8 boats (and even more propellers) I am still fly fishing, still guiding, and still learning something new each
year.
I have been an instructor at the American Marine Training school previously based in CT, and I continue to teach navigation
and boat handling to new boat owners and experienced boaters new to the area.

I teach many of my clients fly casting technique, and speak to local clubs and groups through out the year. However
my primary focus is for my clients to enjoy their day on the water, whether they are fly fishing, spin-casting, or a little
of both.
